Antique French copper cauldron with two handles and black patina. This copper cooking pot or cauldron dates from the 19th century, possibly earlier.It was used on a wood fire. It can be used as a vase as it is thick metal and is watertight. A similar pot with a blue patina is also available. Heavy wear and rustic condition consistent with age and use.
