As well as our huge copperware range we also offer a nice range of pre loved french Treasures and Vintage Kitchenalia & Country Style From the early nineteenth century, this is an exciting piece of early French equipment from what was a large kitchen and has been entirely and carefully well made by hand with its perfectly fitting original dished cover. The daubiere is a braising or roasting pot that, was originally from the Provence region. This lovely version is from the early nineteenth century : All three of the copper handles are hand cast, All the handles are as firm as the day they were made and are held with rivets, flat headed to the interior. And has a tinned interior and cover.
Its base length is 10 1/4 inches and it is 13 1/2" inches between the side handles with a height of 5 inches, 6" to the lid handle top when it is on. 7 wide APPROX 1mm walls.From my own collection, time to sell it on. So will be listing it over the coming months. From our original range, ie they are left as found in the original patina not machine buffed to a sparkly shine. So it up to you to admire the patina aged over years of use. Or you can polish it. Check out my other items.
